High Point soccer since 1984

Four decades of High Point soccer.

The club that runs High Point's recreation soccer grew up here. It began as the High Point Soccer Association, and the families who played for the Stars, PSA and PTFC are part of the same story.

1984 · High Point Stars

The High Point Soccer Association is formed. In 1991 it becomes the Piedmont Soccer Alliance (PSA).

2005 · PTFC

PSA and the Kernersville Soccer Association found Piedmont Triad Football Club together. A 501(c)(3) non-profit since 2017.

2024 · Carolina Core FC Youth

PTFC becomes the official youth club of Carolina Core FC, the professional club at Truist Point in High Point.

High Point's pro club

Recreation today. Room to grow tomorrow.

Most Recreation players are here for fun, friends and a weekly game, and that is the point. For the ones who want more, the same club runs every level above it.

The pros drop in.

Carolina Core FC plays in MLS NEXT Pro at Truist Point in downtown High Point, and its first-team players have helped coach Recreation sessions. Recreation is the first of six levels in the club.

They are the same club. If you or your children played for PSA, the Stars or PTFC, this is the same club. Read the club history.
